Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of our life. I never expected that a small step to solving one of the pressing problems my community faces would turn out to be something like this. I know I have told you all “the story” many times, but that is what makes us special. That is what has given the opportunity to product managers from across the world to relate to us and relate to what we are trying to solve.

Today, I am excited to share with you all that we at Zeda.io have raised a seed funding of $1.2M from BEENEXT, Binny Bansal’s 021 Capital, and our existing investors Whiteboard Capital, FirstCheque.vc, and Paradigm Shift Capital.

Where are we now?

About a year ago, my Co-founder, Vaibhav, and I started building Zeda.io with a mission to make product management simpler and smarter. Having gone through the problems ourselves, we know how hard it is as a product manager to juggle multiple tools to manage things at work. Most of your time goes into doing operational work. Yet, to everyone’s surprise, there’s no such solution that solves the product management needs in one place. That’s the realization that made us build Zeda.io.

We now have Zeda.io: a one-stop comprehensive Product Management suite that will simplify the processes by bringing together all things needed to define, manage and collaborate on products. From that till here, it has been a fantastic journey.

2021 Milestones

We closed our first pre-seed funding of $450K in March, and the first PR went out in April.

We launched our first MVP in May and the next in October.

Currently, we are live with 300 users and have almost 4000 users on our waitlist. We are opening access to them in the coming weeks, and I can’t wait to know how they like the product.

The road ahead: Reimagining the way we manage products

We started building Zeda.io with a mission to make Product Management Simpler and Smarter and improve the overall quality of products being built in the world. We aren’t even halfway through our journey. Right now, the platform lets you define, manage, and collaborate on products efficiently. I strongly feel that this will empower product managers to spend their time more on strategic work and enhance their productivity.

In the future, with the help of the machine learning models and the community, we hope to make the everyday lives of product managers better and easier, just like how GitHub AI Copilot helps engineers.
